The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE)
Ukraine is a member of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) since January 30, 1992.The Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe (CSCE), which took place 3 July 1973 - 1 August 1975 with the participation of 33 European countries, the United States and Canada, was concluded by the Final Act signed by the Heads of States and Governments in Helsinki, which became a long-term action program for building a united, peaceful, democratic and prosperous Europe.
According to the Helsinki Final Act of the CSCE in 1975, the priority Organization’s directions are: cooperation in security, economics, science, technology and environment fields as well as in the humanitarian and other spheres (human rights, information, culture, education).
