The Dnieper Princess Cruise Ship has arrived to Kyiv on May 21, 2017.

Volodymyr Omelyan, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, greeted passengers, crew members and staff of SE “Ukrainian Sea Port Authority”.

"I want to acknowledge the work of the management and all employees of SE “Ukrainian Sea Port Authority”. It is a great pleasure that we are reviving river and sea cruise shipping to the EU countries. After a three-year pause, this is the first ship to make such a voyage. In total, there have been scheduled nine voyages for this year," Volodymyr Omelyan said. "This is a good start for the renewal of international river and sea shipping. The Dnieper and the Southern Buh rivers have huge potential, which we have to realize. Upon a private company’s initiative last year, citizens and guests of Kyiv had an opportunity to make voyages on “River Rockets” ship. This year, the project will be commenced on the Southern Buh River, too. "

The Dnieper Princess Cruise Ship schedule is as follows: Fetesti (Romania) – Odesa – Mykolaiv – Kherson – Dnipro – Kyiv, with a stop in Zaporizhia.

"It is very important that we have created this route together with Romania. Cooperation between the two countries is strengthening. Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine will be visiting Romania next week. The agenda includes discussing economic and political issues, and cultural cooperation. The meeting of the bilateral Ukraine - Romania Commission is planned for July 6, 2017," Volodymyr Omelyan said.

The Dnieper Princess Cruise Ship is a Ukrainian 4 decks river cruise vessel that is 125 meters long and 16,7 meters wide.
